Nicklasson Athletic Company was created in 1946 by Henry "Hank" Nicklasson. It began as a local supplier of school athletic supplies and has grown into one of southern Minnesota's largest sporting goods suppliers. A large majority of schools, athletic organizations, and teams in southern Minnesota and abroad purchase their uniform and equipment needs at Nicklasson Athletic Company.
We offer a wide variety of supplies and equipment needed for any sport you may be involved in. Our building offers the space to inventory a broad array of sporting equipment. We stock anything from football equipment to first aid supplies to track supplies to hockey, etc. Nicklasson Athletic is much more than just an athletic store. We have a full time engraver on staff who can create your awards from our large selection of trophies, medals, and plaques. We offer custom skate sharpening for both the hockey player and the figure skater and we offer custom screen-printing and embroidery.

Our retail store along with our on site warehouse are located at 1217 South Broadway in New Ulm. Our retail store takes pride in offering a wide variety of clothing by Adidas and Nike for men, women and kids. We also carry a wide selection of school apparel. We offer a large selection of shoes by Adidas, Nike, K-Swiss, New Balance and Saucony in sizes from infant to a men's 14. We also carry a large selection of trophies, medals, and plaques in stock. Our on-site engraver would be happy to customize your special award for any occasion.
Our custom screen-printing and embroidery shop is located on Main Street in St James. We offer a wide variety of custom lettering for your schools, teams, businesses, and organizations. In our St. James location, our on-site artist will be happy to turn your ideas into reality.
